Flush The Fat Out Of Your Body With This Refreshing Drink Recipe

One of the most important things we can do for our health is to drink plenty of filtered water. Water supports almost every enzymatic process throughout our body.  When we are dehydrated, every bodily process suffers. Research has shown that dehydration can even cause us to eat more. Sometimes we can even mistake our hunger signals for those of thirst. Drinking adequate water can not only help us eat less, but it is also important for the process of fat burning.

According to an article entitled, “A Recipe For Fat Flush Water (It Literally Flushes Fat)” by Alanna Ketler, the process of fat breakdown results in waste products that must be removed from the body. Adequate hydration is essential to the process of eliminating these waste products from our organs. When waste is not removed, fat burning is thwarted. In other words, if you want to help flush your fat quickly, then try the following recipe-- compliments of the above article. To view the original article, please click here.

“Fat Flush” Recipe:

  • 2 Liters (64 oz.) Purified Water
  • 1 Tangerine, sectioned
  • 1/2 Grapefruit, sliced
  • 1 Cucumber, sliced
  • 4 Peppermint or Spearmint Leaves
  • Ice, (made from purified water) optional

Mix in a pitcher before bed and drink throughout the entire next day. Please consider using organic produce for this.  If it is unavailable to you, then thoroughly wash the produce before adding it to the water.

My take on this:

Dehydration is a serious issue that lies at the root of many conditions such as fatigue, high blood pressure, cholesterol issues, constipation and early aging. Drinking half of your body weight in ounces of high quality filtered water each day is one simple thing you can do to dramatically improve your health. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, drink 75 ounces or more glasses per day. If you live in a hot climate, exercise, or are pregnant, breastfeeding or ill, you will want to drink even more.  Be sure to choose filtered water. Tap water can be a source of fluoride, chlorine, antibiotics, and other nasties that will simply add to your toxic burden. Please remember, although the tangerine, grapefruit, cucumber and peppermint used in this recipe do have health benefits, increasing your daily, unflavored water intake will also yield amazing benefits. In other words, you don’t have to necessarily employ the  “fat flush” to flush fat, but it may be worth a shot.. 😊
