Whenever the holidays roll around, I just love having my hot apple cider, eggnog and especially a rich, creamy hot chocolate that warms me to the core. It instantly brings a smile to my face. One of my favorite reasons for choosing this particular hot cocoa recipe though, is that it's also dairy-free! smile

I can actually say I've gone through quite a bit of hot chocolate recipes, and while most are great, this is hands down my favorite so far!

Crockpots, in my opinion, is truly the most underused kitchen appliance there is. However, they are definitely the handiest and super simple to clean up! 

I always view them as if they are my sous chef preparing my food while I just go about my day working or running errands. 

You can throw everything in, set it and forget it. A few hours go by and you return to a home smelling like delicious dinner aromas.

I made this recipe this past week and I honestly could not believe how delicious it tasted. Having a few friends over for dinner they said it was some of the tastiest wings they ever taste too. (Hint: It's all in the dipping sauce)

The almond ginger dipping sauce is so savory and tasty. My only recommendation is to make more rather than less. wink Needless to say, this recipe is a homerun!
